At SANAE, we believe that opportunities lie in community building. As regular users of the Copado Robotic Testing platform, we were excited to attend Copado Community Day. It was a virtual gathering of Copado users, specialists, and partners worldwide. We left the event with a stronger understanding of how to use Copado’s capabilities to generate business value. Mostly because the event was packed with educational lectures, lively discussions, and networking opportunities.
One of the highlights of the event was the session with Copado Champions. Copado Champion is basically an expert who successfully passed a special exam organized by Copado. Each of them started from a different position and had different knowledge about CRT systems and Copado. However, in the end, all of them were able to expand Copado solutions use in their company. The main achievement and benefit of such an approach was a reduction of repetitive actions leading to higher work efficiency.
The panel discussion on DevOps best practices was another session that grabbed our attention. The panelists, who were experienced practitioners in the DevOps field, offered their knowledge on how to establish a successful DevOps practice and the difficulties they encountered. They stressed the value of teamwork, automation, and ongoing improvement. They also mentioned how Copado can help the DevOps process run more smoothly and quickly.
The future of Testing was a very productive discussion. Four QA experts tried to answer the most crucial problems that IT testers face nowadays. The discussion hit topics about “what tools to use”, “how to defend the value of testing” or “what we should expect in the future of testing”.
Panelists in another session discussed how Copado allows developers to manage branches, merge conflicts and track their code quality and compliance. The session provided valuable insights into how GIT works within the Copado platform and how it can be used to speed up development cycles and improve team collaboration.
At the end we attended the Fundamentals workshop. We were introduced to the deployment process of stories, using Copado tools. It was very straightforward and clear to understand, even for people that are not so knowledgeable about the deployment process. In conclusion, Copado can really simplify the deployment process, making it a very effective tool to use.
Overall, participating in Copado Community Day was a worthwhile experience. It deepened our understanding of the Copado platform’s features. We look forward to keeping using Copado to increase business value and staying involved in the vibrant Copado community.
